  • Email address and display name (via authentication provider)
  • Discord username and linked Discord ID (if connected)
  • Profile metadata including subscription tier and account status
  • Authentication tokens and session data

Usage Data

  • Pages visited, features used, and interaction patterns
  • Pick views, tracking history, and sport/market preferences
  • Device type, browser, operating system, and screen resolution
  • IP address, approximate location, and access timestamps

Subscription & Payment Data

  • Subscription tier, source (manual, Discord, payment), and expiration
  • If payment processing is enabled: transactions are handled by third-party processors — we do not store full credit card numbers or banking details

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the BankBoys platform
  • Authenticate your identity and manage account access
  • Deliver picks, projections, live tracking, and personalized content
  • Manage subscription tiers and enforce access controls
  • Sync Discord roles with subscription status
  • Send service-related notifications and updates
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve features and performance

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data with trusted third-party services that help us operate the platform:

  • Authentication: Supabase (account management, session handling)
  • Hosting & Infrastructure: Vercel (frontend), cloud VPS (backend API)
  • Analytics & Processing: Third-party analytics and data processing services (pick analysis — no personal data sent)
  • Data Feeds: ESPN, PrizePicks, and other sports data providers
  • Discord: For role sync and community features
  • Payment Processors: If applicable, for subscription billing

We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of BankBoys or its users.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers using industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. We use Supabase for database management with row-level security policies to protect user data.

While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no system is 100% secure. You acknowledge that you provide information at your own risk.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution.

Anonymized usage analytics and aggregated performance data (e.g., pick hit rates) may be retained indefinitely as they cannot be linked back to individual users.

7. Cookies & Tracking

BankBoys uses essential cookies and local storage for authentication, session management, and user preferences (e.g., dark mode, sport filters). We may use analytics tools to understand usage patterns and improve the platform.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell tracking data to advertisers.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing of your data

BankBoys is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will promptly delete their account and data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or via email. Continued use of BankBoys after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
